iPhone
Since the SDK was made public, I have been swamped with requests for iPhone apps. Here are a few I have worked on.
In the app store now
SnowFerno
You are a snowball. You are in Hell. Feats of dexterity and puzzle solving will get you through! Twenty unique levels and a custom sound track. Check out gameplay videos and other goodies at the SnowFerno website.
SnowFerno was a collaboration with the guys at FatLab Music. I provided all the coding, all the 3d models, and some of the game design. They provided all the rest.
SnowDude
An excellent accelerometer based casual snowboarding game. Tilt the device to move your 'Dude' down the slopes. Tap the screen to jump over obstacles. I provided all the programming for SnowDude, working for the Lycette Bros, a very creative group of artists here in Melbourne. You can check out more about Snowdude on the Lycette website.
Blackout
This is a product of the very talented Signs Studios. Blackout is like a flashlight app on crack. It has all sorts of cool features like crazy special effects, multi-color changing lights and even a morse code mode. They hired me to do a bunch of back-end code work for them. I provided all the animation code, the interface interaction code, and all the specialty code like the morse interpreter.
aSleep
Another lovely app from Signs Studios. This app plays lovely sounds to help you get to sleep at night. My contribution: an OpenAL based sound engine to handle all the soothing sounds.
AntiStress
This is a funky little app that lets you shake it to work out your stress levels. Again, from Signs Studios. It includes an accelerometer based shake detector, and some chats to plot your shake sessions. I provided the back end code.
AntiSnore
Yet another app from Signs Studios. This app listens to you while you are sleeping and if you snore too loudly it vibrates and wakes you up, handy! I provided the back end code to detect sounds and generate the customized snore-charts.
