These are some of the simple button icons i did for a custom application. The design requirement was for simplicity, and visual representation of the action to be performed.

the icons functions from the top left:
tune (like tune up your car, not music), contour skate (a curve fitting algorithm), duplicate curve.
The middle Row: measure, mark, re-center graph, clamp (another curve algorithm), smooth (more curve stuff), and show stats.
The bottom row: tangent, flatten, rotate, stretch

Spydercam has three basic setups that we do:

• the Bullet, which is a single axis, point to point, very stable and very fast rig.
• the Falcon, which is a 2 axis 'foy' style rig, this can go back and forth and up and down in any fashion that the director wants, this rig is the kind of rig that we use to get shots like spiderman swinging through the streets of NYC
• the Talon, which was named after the jet fighter in the movie 'Stealth', which was the first major production the talon system was used on. It is a 3d system, and the camera can fly anywhere in a specified 3d box. This system is the system that we won an academy award for developing.

In any case, these are the logos that i designed to try to convey all of the above text in a nice simple form so that the producers and directors who want to hire us can easily see what they might want to use.

astute readers will notice that these have the same basic form factor as the custom t-shirt logos. It turns out those were quite popular not only among the spyderguys but also with the people we work with on set, so to capitalize on that, i went ahead and used that nice simple outer-circle to help link all that together visually.

My good friend Miellyn and her husband Shaun make indie movies. Their company is called Fight Me Films. and they do some cool stuff. This is the logo I designed for them.

After working with the same group of people for long enough, everyone usually ends up with some sort of nickname, or something that they are associated with within the group. This happened fairly rapidly with the Spydercam crew, and we wanted to make some custom tee-shirts, but instead of our names, ahve some nice pictorial representation of our nicknames or whatever.

Here are all those designs, each meant to be printed onto the center-front-chest of a black t-shirt.
